SALMON SCAM (In Production)
Producer / Director
Produced in collaboration with Story Gorge
Salmon Scam is a documentary film exploring the federal prosecution of Indigenous fishermen in the Pacific Northwest during the 1970s and 1980s, uncovering the lasting impact of the “salmon scam” sting operations on Native communities along the Columbia River. Through personal testimony, archival material, and contemporary reflection, the film examines Indigenous fishing rights, environmental justice, cultural resilience, and the ongoing relationship between tribal communities and the river that sustains them.
As Producer and Director, I helped guide the project from story development through production and editorial shaping, working closely with collaborators, community members, and tribal partners. The project emphasizes lived experience, long-term relationship building, and the cultural and environmental significance of Columbia River fishing traditions.

Kumari: a Father’s Dream
Co-EDitor - Editorial Recut
Recut produced in collaboration with Story Gorge
Kumari: A Father’s Dream follows a group of childhood friends from low-caste families in rural Nepal who build a trekking guide social enterprise that transforms their remote village through community-led development. Guided by a promise made to his dying father, community leader Jagat Lama helps establish many of the region’s first essential resources, including a school, women’s skill center, community farm, electrical infrastructure, and a medical clinic serving the surrounding region.
After a devastating earthquake destroys much of the village’s progress, the film follows Jagat and the community as they mobilize relief efforts and rebuild Kumari with renewed purpose and long-term vision for future generations.
As Co-Editor, I collaborated on a shortened recut of the documentary created for touring showcase screenings and festival presentations, including programs connected to festivals such as Mountainfilm. My role focused on refining pacing, restructuring story beats, and condensing the film for showcase screenings while preserving the emotional core of the project.
